Nanotechnology is a rapidly progressing field in which applications are being developed in a variety of areas including medical devices, electronic components, heat management systems, power systems, and mechanical actuators, among others.  The evolution of nanotechnology continues to produce smaller and better products that can take advantage of the quantum and surface phenomena that occur at the nanolevel.
