OVERVIEW
Michael is a senior Intellectual Property attorney, registered with the U.S. Patent Office, and licensed in the State of Wisconsin. He has previous experience practicing in a law firm advising clients in intellectual property matters, drafting and prosecuting patents and trademarks, and also working in-house at two major Wisconsin manufacturers.
Following law school Michael worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office examining internal combustion engine technology. Other professional experience includes using his manufacturing engineering degree in the fields of home construction industry including plumbing, security, air ventilation, and consumer electronics.
Michael’s practice includes opinion work on validity, infringement, patentability, strategy and prosecuting patents for over 10 years.
In his free time, Michael enjoys boating with his wife and two kids. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.

EDUCATION
Michael acquired his law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, MI in 2008. He received his degree in manufacturing engineering in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
