Kent holds an electrical engineering degree and has a technical background in circuits engineering, software engineering and circuit testing. Kent prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts. He has assisted in the preparation of right-to-use opinions and infringement analysis, and has also assisted in conducting due diligence investigations.
Kent received his law degree in 2004 from Marquette
University and his EE degree from UW-Milwaukee in 2001.
Kent is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Kent has developed several software applications for
use during patent prosecution, including
which interfaces with Microsoft Word®
to automate and organize patent numbering for claims and other documents.
